    Information for the Upcoming season:

    REGISTRATION/EVALUATION: Evaluations will be NOV. 30 at 1 PM at the Lee Weatherington Boys        and Girls Club (see link to map below).

    Before you can be evaluated, you must register with USAV.

    1. Go to www.usavfl.org to register with the Florida Region of USAV. The registration fee is $50.00.      Make sure to print out your reciept.

    2. While registering you will be asked your club affilation. PLEASE DO NOT SELECT Whitesands             Volleyball Club unless you are sure you you will be playing with us. If you are not sure, select             UNDECIDED. After the Dec 1 committment date, you will be able to log in and change your affiliation.

    3. Complete and print the 2008 Medical Release Form found at: www.usavfl.org/FormsFP.htm. 

    4. Bring the player's birth certificate or passport, and medical form to registration.

    Please register with AAU as well.
   
    1. Visit aausports.org to register with AAU. Please complete the insurance form for AAU as well.

    Fees:

    Club Fees will range between $600 and $700 dollars based on tournament selections.  Fees include:     uniform, sweatshirt, practice shirt, tournament entries, coaches' travel expenses.

USAV Regionals (April 28 and 29):

16s: The sixteens had another awesome time this weekend.  Though the team was a conglomeration of players from the 16s, 15s, and 14s, they still went 3-0 on Saturday finishing first in their bracket (after being ranked 4th).  This was a great start and gave them a bye into the round of 16 in the gold division.  Unfortunately, they ran into Coach LaLiberte's old nemesis at Ultimate VBC, and lost their first game in the gold division (20-25, 20-25).  This was good enough to place them as one of the top 16 teams in the state--tied for 9th in the region--as good as and better than any 16s team in our area!  All of your coaches are very proud of your efforts this weekend!  Congrats Christina, Alex, Jordan, Alana, Juliana, Noelle, Maureen, Kayla, and Kasey!

AAU Regional tournament (April 21 and 22):

16s: The 16s performed brilliantly this weekend.  On Saturday, the 16s were in a very evenly matched pool and won 2 and lost 1 in route to qualifing for the gold bracket.  On Sunday, the 16s won their first match in three games.  During their second match on Sunday, the 16s lost to a very good Jacksonville Juniors Travel team (23-25, 19-25).  When all was said and done, the 16s finished 9th  out of 44 teams, better than any other 16s team in our area!  Congrats to the 16s and Coach LaLiberte!  You have shown continual growth over the past 3 months, and your coach is proud of you!

17s: The 17s had a tough day on Saturday.  They lost all three games, however, took two of their opponents to three games.  On Sunday, the 17s made it to the Bronze semi-final game where they finally lost.  Congrats on your season 17s.  Coach Perry is very proud of your efforts!
